Spring 2011 anime plans

What I've decided to watch. Based almost solely on studio, and Steins;Gate due to hype + looks like it might be interesting.

Seins;Gate,
the two SHAFT shows, (Maria Holic Alive, Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko)
the two Manglobe shows, (Deadman Wonderland, Kami Nozmizo Shiru Sekai 2)
and the KyoAni show. (Nichijou)

Not sure about:
the xebec shows (Hen Zemi, Sofuteni)
NoitaminA shows (C: The Money of Soul and Posibility Control, Ano Hana)
and the PA Works one.(Hanasaku Iroha)

5 Centimetres per Scecond (3 year delay -_-;)

Finally got my copy of the UK (Australian) edition of one of my favourite anime "film"s.
I will not be reviewing the film itself, which I first saw over four years ago, but the shambolic dvd release.

Much as Manga totally failed in alleviating fears I had about video quality (actually give accurate product listings, Amazon still thinks it's sub only), it was actually a good transfer. The standard for UK (Australian) anime dvds is a transfer from the US release, not from the source film, which leaves very bad artifacts form having the frame rate changed twice (e.g. interlace between 3 frames).

Does this make me bourgeoisie?

So next week is my not quite annual skiing holiday.
Still undecided on reading material, for the travel and for evenings and if the weathers so bad you can't go outside. Normally gone for a selection of Si-fi/ Fantasy novels and any coursework I may have had (certificate in management essays this time). Slightly low on unread stuff currently, being a NEET has cleared the backlog somewhat.
What do I do, TV in Norway is awful, nothing but handheld video games isn't good for my sanity either?

Hardwear review?

Ok so I bought new headphones and a wireless mouse and keyboard set.
Headphones are a great improvement, they're in one piece still. I wore their predecessor to destruction.
The mouse so far seems ok.

The keyboard on the other hand appears to cause input lag in certain things (a few games, only when run fullscreen). It's mirroring a problem I had due to Ati HotKey Poller (now disabled). It's an MS keyboard, surely it should work with their own OS fine, I mean why only when things are fullscreen?

Spelign

I make tons of typos and HATE using spell checkers, as they tend to Americanise things.
Get used to it.

Feel free to correct me/ poke fun.

had to repost this

My review of Isshoni Training, take this as the standard for what truly awful means

Okay, now having subjected myself to Isshoni Training.

It's like reused sequences the anime.

Think there's about 3 minutes of animation in the 25.
Possibly even less voice and music (it's very repetitive BGM).
Voice consists of a short intro/shower scene (and end scenes), and counting from 1-24 . The counting is mostly reused (all the stuff during exercises is). The other audio (my god there's so much reuse I can actually talk about all of it) consists of her breathing 24 times in a slightly more strained way, the very bad BGM and *boing*.
